*May 21st, 2004: Gydja and The Magdalene appeared in separate performances at the Auckland Women'sFest. Songs performed were Lilith and Pleroma of Pleromas, a re-interpretation of the Torture by Roses piece Ignis Spiritus. Abby also appeared as one third of the noise group Solanas.

*February 7th, 2004: Gydja and The Magdalene appeared at Circadian Rhythm in separate performances. Songs performed were from the then forthcoming album on the Mystery Sea label. Click the link to see the poster for Circadian Rhythms.

*July 26th, 2003: Gydja played support for Clear Stream Temple at Circadian Rhythms. Live vocals were provided by Justine O'Gadra-Sharp of Pulchritude. Songs performed were Salutal Janazah (for the Children of Iraq) and Hekate. Click the link to see the poster for Circadian Rhythms.

*October, 2002: At the 2002 Darkness Gathering festival, Abby appeared with the Magdalene as Torture By Roses, as well as premiering a Gydja piece in tribute to dark New Zealand music of the past and present. *April, 2002: At an event called This Is Not A Drill, Gydja premiered excerpts from the new work, Cold Seed, in an audio and video installation mixed live. To see the flyer for this event, click here.

*October, 2001: As part of a Mediatrix release party in Auckland, Gydja contributed a multimedia installation of the Clothed in Shadow sequence of tracks, featuring Jordan Reyne on vocals, performance by The Magdalene, and projections by Interim Inc. *September, 2001: Gydja were slated to perform at New Zealand's leading dark end music event, the Darkness Gathering festival. Technical problems led to the intended debut of the Clothed in Shadow sequence of tracks being played within a more intimate context.
